These are my first toe-up socks. I used Wendy’s toe-up sock pattern. Only one pattern change: I knit into back loops when hiding the wraps in order to prevent holes. (This may not have been necessary, as I figured out later I was picked up my purl wraps the wrong way) The yarn was a birthday gift from my younger sister. Magic Stripes, in the Sea Blue colorway. Started October 8th, finished October 24th. Note my cute new Dr. Marten Mary Janes…just bought them Saturday expressly for the purpose of showing off my hand-knit socks!

That’s very exciting! I can’t wait to see how you get along with it – the colour of the yarn sounds very pretty

Hurry up and finish, already! I can’t wait to see the completed sock! And let us know how you liked the pattern – I’m thinking I might use it in the not-too-distant future…

Aaaah!! Well, if you have to frog, you have to frog! I know how that goes. I guess I can be patient a little longer…

Love the socks! I used a similar yarn but I didn’t get my colourways to match up. Yours look much nicer.
