Brazilian bikini by Beatriz Medina of Rio de Janeiro. Pattern found at crochetpartners.org in 2001. Crocheted with #10 thread and seed beads. Started August 17, finished August 27.
Lil’ sis requested this bikini for her Hawaiian honeymoon in October. I saw the bikini on her just after it was finished and it looks gorgeous. I hope she will enjoy it for many years.
I know it will last a long time as I’ve already made one for myself and one for my sister-in-law in years past. I love this pattern because it’s easy to modify the size.

“Dolman Updated” from the Winter ‘03 Interweave Knits. The yarn is Tahki’s “New Tweed.” Finished August 4, 2005.

This sweater is very quick and easy. There’s a LOT of finishing work for this pattern, but it’s not so bad if you alternate between sewing seams and weaving in ends. I had twice as many tails to weave in because I decided to split them for extra security. I’m going to crochet the underarm seam later, too. I want this sweater to last a long time!
